3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups Crispy Rice cereal
1 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces, divided
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Heat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine sugars, butter, vanilla and eggs; mix well. Stir in flour, cereal, 1/2 cup chocolate pieces, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Spread into a 13x9-inch pan. Sprinkle with remaining chocolate pieces. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool and cut into bars.
